Former Jasper County Sheriff S. Reames Dies

There was sad news out of Jasper County, Indiana. Former Jasper County Sheriff Steven Reames has died.   Reames led the department from 1987 to 1995 and is being remembered as an innovator who hired good people.  Two of them went on to be future sheriffs.   Reames was 72.
