Christmas Shots Fired

Shots were fired over the Christmas holiday weekend in Kankakee.  City police were called to the 1000 block of Locust Ave. about 2:30 Christmas morning when the city’s shot spotter system picked up the sound of gunfire.  Upon arrival, officers discovered one spent shell casing in the area, but no one was hurt and there was no damage reported in the incident.
