Man Pleads Guilty to Bomb Threat in Grundy County

A Coal City man has been sentenced to 3 years in prison for threatening to blow up the Grundy County Courthouse in July of this year.  19 year old Ty Willis of Coal city pled guilty to disorderly conduct in Grundy County Court Monday.  Prosecutors say they were alerted to the plot after Willis teste a friend to say he had plans to blow up the courthouse with a bomb he had already constructed.  An investigation found Willis had, in fact, not made any bomb.
