Harris Held without Bond

In Kankakee County Court Monday at a bond hearing for accused cop killer Xandria Harris of Bradley, Judge Kathy Bradshaw Elliott heard and approved a request by state prosecutors to hold the 26 year old Harris without bail.  She and 25 year old Darius Sullivan of Bourbonnais are both charged in last week’s shooting death of Bradley Sgt. Marline Rittmanic and the injuring of Officer Tyler Bailey.  Kankakee County State’s Attorney Jim Rowe says Bailey was shot in the head and continues to fight for his life.  The Daily Journal reports Sullivan remains in Indiana where he was arrested Friday.  At a hearing this morning Sullivan attorney said he will not right fight extradition to Illinois and will now be returned Kankakee County to face murder charges.
