Congressman Adam Kinzinger Rips Senator Ted Cruz

Illinois Republican Congressman Adam Kinzinger is ripping Senator Ted Cruz for walking back recent remarks that the January 6th Capitol assault was a “terrorist attack.” Cruz, a Texas Republican, said his reference was “sloppy and frankly dumb” during an apologetic segment with Fox host Tucker Carlson. Carlson had slammed Cruz over the “terrorist” remark. Kinzinger tweeted Cruz’s walk-back was one of the most pathetic things he has ever seen.
