Lake Station IN Man Arrested in Fatal Bar Fight

A Lake Station, Indiana man has been arrested for aggravated battery and battery resulting in bodily injury in connection with a mid-November fight that resulted in the death of a Hobart Indiana man. The Northwest Indiana Times says 40-year-old Jeremy James Davis of Lake Station was charged in the November 13th fight near a Lake Station bar that sent 45-year-old Allen Joseph Flores to the hospital with blunt force trauma to the head. Flores later died of his injuries. The Lake County Coroner’s office said Flores died of massive brain injury and blunt force trauma to the head. Medical records released to the Lake County Courts say the injuries were consistent with being struck in the face and then falling to the ground, in which the back of his head struck the street. Davis is set to appear in Lake County Superior Court on February 3rd.
