DeMotte Man takes Handcuffed Woman to Nebraska

A Jasper County, Indiana man has been arrested in Nebraska after he allegedly handcuffed a woman then drove her to cornhusker state.  This happened on Wednesday.  Police in Hall County, Nebraska were on alert after being informed that 52 year old William Brittingham of DeMotte was possibly heading in their direction.  His pickup truck was spotted on I-80, Brittingham was taken into custody without incident.    The woman was not hurt. Police say they did find a gun in the truck.
