Gardner Man Killed in Crash

Illinois State Police report an accident Friday morning took the life of a 36-year-old Gardner man. According to reports, it was just before noon Friday that the car driven by Timothy Thomason of Gardner, was northbound on I-55 and struck the rear of a semi that was stopped on the roadway. Reports say Thomason was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
