Mobile Home Fire in Kankakee

Kankakee Firefighters were called to a mobile home at 1945 South Schuyler Avenue, lot C1 Sunday evening. It’s reported the home was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived. The trailer was unoccupied at the time the fire broke out and had been empty for about two weeks according to reports. There were no reported injuries battling the blaze, which caused some 20-thousand-dollars worth of damage to the mobile home. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
