Gibson City Elementary Closes Because of Water Main Break

Gibson City Elementary School was dismissed early Monday when a water main ruptured near the school.  It was about 11:30 yesterday morning when what’s termed by the school district as a major water main break developed at Church and 16^th Streets.  As a result, water to the school had to be turned off and the kids were sent home early.
