Weekend accident results in minor injuries

Minor injuries were reported after a two-car crash in Iroquois County over the weekend. According to reports, a car driven by 52-year-old John J. Reynolds of Park Forest was southbound on 18-hundred East Road in Iroquois County Saturday, when, according to reports, he failed to stop at the intersection and collided with a car driven by 37-year-old Mitchell J. Hurliman of rural Cissna Park. Iroquois County Sheriff’s Police say there were minor injuries in the crash and Reynolds was cited for failing to yield the right of way.
