Kankakee City Police arrest man on gun charges

Kankakee City Police report several incidents over the weekend. About 3:30 Friday afternoon City Police were called by a person that said they’d been driving near the Fairgrounds south of town when a black car pulled up  beside them and pointed a gun at them. The victim provided police with a description of the car and a few minutes later City Police pulled the car over. A search of the car allegedly turned up a loaded handgun. City police arrested the driver, Nathan Springer on several gun-related charges.
