Rezin Wants to Reign in JB

Republican State Senator Sue Rezin is co-sponsoring a bill to reign in current Governor Jb Pritzker and future state leaders when an emergency like the covid 19 pandemic is declared.   Rezin says the bill forces the governor, who now rules by executive order, to include the state legislature in decision making.   The bill would force the governor to get legislative approval before an emergency declaration could be extended past 30 days.
