Morning crash takes life of St. Anne woman

A crash this morning at Route 45/52 and 8000 South Road in Kankakee County took the life of a 71-year-old woman from rural St. Anne. The crash happened not long after six this morning on route 45/52 in far southern Kankakee county. County Coroner Bob Gessner says the driver of one of the cars, 71-year-old Deborah Singleton was pronounced dead at the scene while the other driver was airlifted to the hospital. Illinois State Police are investigating the accident and we hope to have more details later today.
