Gas prices going down

Gas prices continue their downward trend, though slowly. Triple A says the average price for a gallon of regular no-lead gas in the State of Illinois is 4.50 this morning, down a penny from yesterday. In Kankakee County, the average is pegged at 4.41 a gallon, down a penny from yesterday and nine cents lower than a week ago at this time. Gasoline is still about a buck-40 more expensive than it was a year ago at this time though. Gas costs 4.25 on average across the United States.
