Cedar Lake child found safe

Cedar Lake Police report the safe return of a missing 8-year-old boy. In a press release, officials say the boy was reported missing about seven Saturday night after he had an argument with his parents. Officers from Cedar Lake Police and Fire, the Lake County Sheriff’s Department and Indiana Department of Natural Resources were called in to help with the search. The search ended happily about two hours later when the boy was located and found to be safe.
