Woman Steals from Disabled Daughters Fund

A Rensselaer woman has been arrested for allegedly stealing from an account meant to provide care for her disabled daughter.    Rensselaer police say an investigation determined that 46 year old Amy Downs may have taken over 118,000 dollars from the account.  The press release did not say what she spent the money on.
