Johnson guilty

Devon Johnson has been found guilty of second degree murder in the 2017 shooting death of 23-year-old Steven Sanders. Johnson shot and killed Sanders in an alley behind the 500 block of East Bourbonnais Street in Kankakee during a confrontation over a stolen gaming system. Johnson is the second man to be found guilty in the murder. Earlier this year, Shizzel Glen pled guilty to conspiracy to commit murder for supplying Johnson with the gun used in the shooting. Glenn has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for his part in the crime. Johnson will be sentenced at a later date.
