Will County Sheriff’s Police are investigating after a man’s body was found in a pond in Homer Glen. According to reports, deputies were called to the pond about five Sunday evening when a man fishing at the pond called them to say he’d spotted what appeared to be a body in the water about 10 feet from shore. Homer Glen Fire Department personnel got the body out of the water and the Will County Coroner’s office identified the body as that of a 41-year-old Orland Park man, reported missing March 23rd. Reports say there were no signs of fowl play at the scene and an autopsy showed no signs of trauma. A cause of death is pending results of a toxicology report.
