Man gets two years for animal torture

A Kankakee County man has been sentenced to two years in prison for animal torture. Kankakee County State’s Attorney Jim Rowe says 33-year-old Kyle Goodman of Momence was sentenced yesterday to two years in the Illinois Department of Corrections for kicking a cat down some stairs, chasing it behind a refrigerator then trying to crush it. The cat survived the attack.
