19-year-old killed in Iroquois County crash

Iroquois County Sheriff’s Police report a single-car fatal crash late last week. According to reports, the car driven by 19-year-old Hannah F. Luening was eastbound on Iroquois County Road 200 North when she failed to negotiate a curve, went into a ditch and the car rolled several times. Luening was taken to the hospital where she died of her injuries. a 16-year-old also in the car at the time of the crash was reportedly uninjured. Iroquois Count Deputies say the accident is still under investigation.
