Armour Road bridge reconstruction to begin on Monday

If you travel Armor Road in Bourbonnais on a regular basis, get ready for about 18 months of frustration.  The 6 million dollar Armour Road bridge reconstruction is scheduled to begin on Monday.  The four lane road will not be closed during the project, but it will be down to just 2 lanes at the bridge.  The rebuild is needed.  The Daily Journal reports the structure received a 8 rating out of 100 for bridge quality last year.  Bourbonnais officials estimate 11,000 vehicles make their way across the Armour Road Bridge everyday.
