Bear in the Air over Manteno Today

Illinois State Police had a bear in the air today over I-57 in Manteno. The state police air unit was looking for drivers traveling at excessive speed. Spotters would then relay the information to ground police units who would make the stop and issue tickets. There’s no word yet on how many tickets were issued during today’s detail and they have not yet said how fast the worst offender was traveling.
