Boshears fate in juror’s hands

The jury in the Will County murder trial of Jeremy Boshears went home Friday afternoon without a verdict. Reports say jurors deliberated some three-and-a-half hours before the judge sent them home for the weekend. Boshears faces multiple counts to first degree murder and concealing a homicidal death in the November 2017 shooting death of Katie Kearns. Boshears is accused of shooting Kearns in the Outlaws Club in Joliet, putting her body in the back of her jeep and driving it to rural St. Anne where it was found in a pole barn two days later. The defense says Kearns killed herself. Jury deliberations continue today.
