Illinois state police looking for escaped inmate

Illinois state police are looking for an escaped inmate.  47 year old Javier Aguirr from Hoopeston escaped from a hospital transport van on Interstate 39 near Minonk in Woodford County Wednesday.  A search of the area was completed by ISP Air Operations and ISP K9 units with no success.  Illinois State Police ask the public to call (309) 693-5015 if they know of his whereabouts.  Aguirr is considered a danger to himself and others. Police say under no circumstances should he be approached.
