Boat explodes in LaSalle County, sending a dozen to the hospital

More than a dozen people are hurt following a boat explosion in LaSalle  County.  State police say it happened Saturday at Spring Brook Marina.  The boat had 17 people on board, 13 of them were taken to hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.  One person on the boat was hospitalized with serious injuries, while one marina employee was also hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.  Authorities are investigating.
