State Police report death of Manteno man

Illinois State Police report a Manteno man is dead following a traffic crash in Chicago Thursday night. Troopers say the unidentified 50-year-old man was driving his car on the shoulder of I-57 near 183rd Street just before 6:30 last night, when he lost control and hit the rear passenger side of a semi trailer. Reports say the Manteno man was taken to the hospital where he died of his injuries. State Police have not released the mans name
