Pembroke man arrested for allegedly shooting at driver

A Pembroke Township man is facing a preliminary charges of attempted murder, aggravated unlawful use of weapon, aggravated discharge of a firearm and aggravated Fleeing after he allegedly shot at a motorist about 7:30 this morning in Pembroke Township.  No one was hurt.  Kankakee County Sheriff’s police say 30 year old Jovnta L. Davis of Pembroke Township was spotted in a vehicle near the scene of shooting and was taken into custody following a chase.  Police say a gun was recovered in the area.  Davis is being held at the county lockup pending his initial court appearance.
