Overnight homicide in Kankakee

Reports of a homicide in the City of Kankakee last night. Kankakee County Deputy Coroner Eric Cavender says 58-year-old Harold W. Williams of Kankakee was pronounced dead just before 11 last night at a hotel in the 21-hundred block of South Schuyler Avenue. The incident is under investigation by the Kankakee City Police Department and the County Coroner’s Office. An autopsy is scheduled for later this morning to help determine a cause of death.
