Juneteenth

All state and federal offices are closed in Illinois today for the Juneteenth holiday.  Juneteenth is a day to commemorate the end of slavery in the United States.  Locally, Kankakee County Governmental offices are closed today, as are the offices for the City of Kankakee. You bank will probably be closed today as well and there will be no mail delivery. Before you head out to do any business today, you might want to call ahead to make sure they’re open today.
