Bradley fire causes $300k damage

Damage was put at about 300-thousand-dollars following a fire in the 15-hundred block of Noble Quest in Bradley Monday night. Bradley Fire Chief Don Kaderabek says the call came in about 6:30 yesterday evening when the home owner smelled smoke and found his deck was on fire. The fire went up the outside of the home, doing extensive damage and causing the home to be uninhabitable. It also caused damage to a neighboring home. Kaderabek says while the cause of the fire is unknown at this time, it’s thought to have been accidental. Bradley fire was assisted by firefighters from Bourbonnais, Kankakee, Kankakee Township and Manteno. Everyone got out of the home safely and no one was injured battling the blaze.
