Channahon resident dies in auto accident

An early morning accident in Lockport Township has claimed the life of a Channahon man.  The Will County Coroner’s office says a preliminary autopsy report indicates that 24 year old Jeremy T. Carr was the driver in the single vehicle accident that happened just before 6 this morning on Briggs St near Rosalind Street. Will County Sheriff’s police say Carr rolled the pickup truck into a ditch and was ejected from the vehicle in the process becoming trapped underneath the vehicle.  He was pronounced dead at the scene.
