Chicago man dies in I-57 crash

Illinois State Police report a on-car accident on the interstate Sunday morning killed a Chicago man. According to reports, the car driven by a 27-year-old man from Chicago was northbound on the Interstate, in the construction zone just north of Chebanse about 3:30 yesterday morning morning when his car went off the road, into the ditch and caught fire. The driver was thrown from the car and was pronounced dead at the scene. Two passengers in the car were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
