12 Years for Crime Spree

A Mechanicsburg, Illinois man has been sentenced to 12 years in prison in Federal Court in Peoria to a series of robberies last year that included the Bank of Pontiac branch in Odell.  55 year old John W. Beck pleaded guilty in January to the April 2021 crime spree that included robbing two banks, four stores and two vehicles all in the span of 10 days.
