No cause yet in Gibson City fire

The Illinois Fire Marshal’s Office has not yet said what caused a fire Monday in Gibson City that destroyed one business and damaged three others while leaving the residents of second floor apartments out of their homes.  Gibson City fire said when firefighters arrived on the scene Monday night just after 5, they found flames coming from the front and the back of Jay’s Place in the 100 block of North Sangamon Ave.  Jays was destroyed by the fire, the other three businesses suffered smoke and heat damage.  No one was hurt in the fire
