Paxton Man Killed in Crash

A Paxton man was killed today in a single vehicle accident on I-57 in Thomasboro.  According to Illinois state police, about 1 :45 this morning 34 year old Kyle T. Messer was southbound on 57 when his vehicle left the roadway and struck a guardrail and overpass support before catching on fire.  Messer was trapped in the vehicle and died at the scene. An official cause of death will await results of toxicology tests.
