Bourbonnais man facing domestic battery, weapons, & drug charges

The Kankakee County Sheriff’s Office arrested 33 year old Salvador D. Salazar of Bourbonnais at approximately 2:30 pm yesterday for domestic battery and a host of weapons and drug charges.  Taken from the home were numerous firearms, approximately 1,000 rounds of various ammunition, armor plate carriers/ballistic vest, almost 5 pounds of marijuana along with suspected LSD and mushrooms. Salazar was transported to Jerome Combs Detention Center with no further incidents.
