Aurora man arrested in child sex sting operation

An Aurora man is being held on $50,000 bond after he walked into a police child sex sting operation. 43 year old Bryan Dickson has been charged with traveling to meet a minor and indecent solicitation of a child after he traveled to Fairbury last Tuesday to meet who he believed to be a 14 year old girl. He was met instead by police.    Police say Dickson had been chatting with what he thought was the 14 year old on A messaging app since September of 2021.
