Gas prices down to start the week

Gas prices continue their downhill slide as we enter another work week. Triple-A says the average cost for a gallon of regular no-lead gas in the Land of Lincoln is four-dollars-63 cents today, down a penny since yesterday and down 19 cents from the cost just a week ago. Triple-A says the cost for a gallon of gas in the Kankakee area has dropped a quarter over the past week and is running 4.21 a gallon on average.  The average cost for a gallon of gas in Iroquois County is 4.21, it’s 4.49 in Ford County and 4.52 in Livingston County.

Across the border in Newton County Indiana, Triple-A says the average cost for a gallon of gas is four-dollars-12 cents, it’s 4.09 in Benton County and 4.33 in Jasper County.
