There are a lot of activities going on around the area this weekend. One of the more unique opportunities is the Prairie Dell Church Cemetery Walk sponsored by the Iroquois County Genealogical Society. Society researcher Mary Buhr
Burh says the Prairie Dell Church is believed to be the oldest church in Iroquois County
Buhr says the walk costs five dollars to attend and unlike some walks in the past, you’ll be able to sit and listen to the presentations before heading out to the cemetery. The Cemetery walk starts at 1:30 Sunday afternoon at the church just west of Iroquois.
