Wilmington Woman Identified as Train Fatal Victim

The Will County Coroner’s office says today it was a Wilmington woman who was struck and killed by an Amtrak Train last Thursday about 8:30 at the North Kankakee Street crossing near Chicago Street.  The victim is identified as 63 year old Susan A. Austin of Wilmington.  She was pronounced dead at the scene. Nobody on the train was reported hurt in the accident.
