Two people were injured in two separate shootings last night that city police believe were related. The first incident occurred in the 200 block of North Greenwood about 10:15 when a 30 year old man said he was shot at by occupants of a vehicle that had driven past him several times. The victim was taken to the hospital for a non-life threatening injury.
Then a little more than an hour later gunfire erupted in the area of East Spruce Street and Webster Circle East injuring a 25 year old man with again a non-life threatening wound. The shooting was witnessed by nearby officers who followed the gunman to a home on Webster Circle. They called in backup and a search of the home turned up five handguns and a rifle along with the suspected shooter. 19 year old Demetrius Bostic was found hiding in the home’s crawl space.
