A traffic stop over the weekend netted Kankakee County Sheriff’s Police a gun arrest. According to reports, it was just before 11 Sunday morning when deputies pulled a car over in Pembroke Township because it had a suspended registration. A search of the car allegedly turned up a handgun and magazine. 22-year-old Kyle A. Ross of Pembroke township told Deputies the gun and ammo were his. Ross reportedly had a FOID card, but no concealed carry permit. He was arrested by deputies for Aggravated Unlawful use of a Weapon.
