Bourbonnais Firefighters warn of scam

The Bourbonnais Fire Protection District wants folks to know about a scam going around the are. In this one, the target of the scam gets an email that supposedly comes from the Fire Department saying they have an outstanding balance with Bourbonnais Fire and asking for payment. The Bourbonnais Fire Protection District says they will never send an email collection notice or outstanding invoice and they’ll never accept credit card payments over the phone. Bourbonnais Fire asks you call them if you have any questions.
