Kankakee City Police make cold case arrest

Kankakee City Police say they have made an arrest in an unsolved murder case dating back to 2014.  It was November 13th, 2014 when police were called to Birch and Harrison for a gunshot victim.  Inside the home police found 26 year old Dearrion Harris suffering from a gunshot wound.  Harris was rushed to the hospital where he later died.  Police say the case was reopened over the summer and their investigation has led to the arrest Tuesday of 56 year old John Magee on murder charges.
