Truck Driver Arrested on Weapon and Drug Charges

A truck driver was arrested last night after being clocked doing 65 in a 45 mile an hour zone on Rt. 45/52.  A check of the driver, Michelle L. Anthony found she was driving on a suspended driver’s license.  The semi’s cap was then searched.  Police say that turned up a handgun, ammunition and 160 grams of cannabis.   Anthony also has a revoked FOID card.  She was charged with Aggravated Unlawful Use of Weapon; Armed Violence; Driving on a suspended license, and possession.
