Mother Sues Crete-Monee High School

The mother of a Crete Monee High School student is suing the school district and the school’s truancy officer claiming the officer slammed her son to the ground twice without provocation.  The mother alleges her son was in a hallway and went to talk to another student when the officer intervened.  The suit asks for damages of at least 50,000 dollars.  School officials say they cannot comment because of the pending legal action.
