State Police NITE patrols

The Illinois State Police in Ashkum says they’ll conduct Nighttime Enforcement or “NITE” patrols in Kankakee County tonight. State Police say the special patrols let them focus on preventing, detecting and taking enforcement action in response to impaired driving and occupant restraint violations. The special patrols will run from six tonight until six tomorrow morning and are funded through the Illinois Department of Transportation.
