Bourbonnais man killed in crash

Kankakee County Coroner Bob Gessner reports a motorcycle crash last night took the life of a Bourbonnais man. Gessner says the accident happened on Route 45/52 at River Road Tuesday evening when the motorcycle driven by 30-year-old David Edward Burja collided with a car. Burja was thrown some 50 feet from the crash and died later at the hospital. Gessner said it’s unclear if Burja was wearing a helmet. An autopsy is scheduled to determine a cause of death.
