10 Years for Dwight Man

A Dwight, Illinois man will spend the next ten years in jail after being sentenced Thursday for a domestic battery incident that took place a year ago at a home in the 200 block of East North Street.  46 year old Ralph Coyle took a plea deal to aggravated domestic battery and domestic battery in August of this year.  Prosecutors say Coyle punched the woman and pushed her down a flight of stairs.  The victim had to be hospitalized for her injuries.  Coyle has two other domestic battery convictions on his record.
